The Society aims to promote, encourage and deepen enjoyment of all branches of literature, poetry, prose,

plays, scripts, stories and novels and including TV,

radio and films


Stirling Literary Society hosts a monthly lecture series from September to May.

Now in its 30th year, the new season offers a wide variety of talks.

All are welcome to attend one, some or all of the talks. Membership is not necessary. Students are welcome. Talks are held on Monday evenings, 7:30 at the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Albert Place, Stirling. Talks usually last 40-50 minutes, followed by questions for the speaker and a lively discussion.

Admission price 7.00 for non-members, 5.00 members.
